Fair Work Commission - ‍Announcing our Registered Organisations Education and Support Program in-person event in Hobart

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide education and advice to registered organisations and their branches, the Registered Organisations Services Branch (ROSB) of the Fair Work Commission has been hosting in-person information sessions. These sessions are part of our Registered Organisations Education and Support Program. 

We will be holding a half-day event between 9:00am–1:15pm Wednesday 26 March 2025 at Rydges Hobart (393 Argyle Street, North Hobart).

The program will be circulated to participants closer to the date, however we will be covering topics of interest including: 

  • Recent changes and the current regulatory landscape 
  • The Commission’s Compliance and Enforcement Policy for registered organisations 
  • Enforceable undertakings and infringement notices 
  • Right of entry permits: Changes to the application process 
  • Elections 
  • Financial Reports 
  • Education activities for 2025 
  • Update on the Model Rules 

This educational event is open to registered organisations, industrial groups, peak bodies, auditors, other government agencies, consultants, compliance workers and anyone working in the compliance and/or industrial relations space.  

On the day you will have the opportunity to directly engage with subject matter experts from the education, compliance and finance teams of the ROSB. Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.
